Homecoming Psychotherapy may use SMS to send appointment reminders, scheduling confirmations and changes, intake and paperwork notices, billing and payment reminders, and brief administrative replies to messages you send us. We do not use SMS for clinical care, crisis support, or therapy between sessions.
Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of receiving services from Homecoming Psychotherapy. You may decline SMS and still book, attend, and pay for appointments through other channels.
Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and your interactions with us. You can expect approximately 10 messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply. These charges come from your mobile carrier, not from Homecoming Psychotherapy. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
You may stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message you receive from us. After you send one of these keywords, we will send a single confirmation message and then stop sending you texts. You may also opt out by contacting us using the details in Section 10. Opting out of SMS does not cancel your appointments or end your care. We will contact you by phone or email instead.

No sharing for marketing. Your mobile information, SMS registration data, and SMS consent data will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Operational sharing only. If we share any of this information, we limit that sharing strictly to our own operational and business purposes — for example, the SMS service providers, aggregators, and messaging platforms we rely on to deliver the program. These providers are permitted to use the information only to operate the service on our behalf, and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing purposes.
No transfer to unauthorized parties. Consumer personal data, including SMS registration and consent data, is not sold, shared, rented, or transferred to unauthorized external organizations. This applies even where a user has given consent for such a transfer. The only exception is where disclosure is required by law, court order, or other lawful authority.
Health information. As a regulated health practice, we also handle your personal health information in accordance with Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and applicable federal privacy law. SMS is not monitored continuously and must not be used for emergencies or crisis situations. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and supported carriers may change without notice.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
